Amy Lee Segami, a TED Residency Finalist, is a trusted advisor for TEDxChicago and a long-time organizer for numerous TEDx events, including TEDxLakeShoreDrive, and TEDxIIT — the longest-running independently organized TED event in Chicago. She has attended TED Global, and TED Summit. She has worked with hundreds of speakers — from international scientists to local entrepreneurs who speak on the round red carpet. Through her insights and proven process, she demystifies what it takes to have a TED Talk mindset and be an effective TED or TEDx event speaker.
Amy is an engineer turned artist, entrepreneur and international marketing executive featured on BBC, NPR, Chicago Crain’s Business and TED Blog.
