Some of the top minds in consulting met for the Society for the Advancement of Consulting Annual Meeting in New York City, October 3-4, 2018, at the Royalton Park Hotel in Manhattan.
SAC Founder consulting guru Alan Weiss introduced new intellectual property, answered questions and lead “hot seat” role plays. Alan was joined by a top-notch group of presenters including Lisa Bing, Mitchell Davis, Jeffrey Hayzlett, Dan Janal, Mark Levy, and SAC Executive Directors Lisa Anderson and Linda Popky.

About the Presenters
Lisa Anderson – SAC Executive Director

Award-winning business performance expert Lisa Anderson, the founder and president of LMA Consulting Group Inc., specializes in manufacturing strategy and end-to-end supply chain transformation that maximizes the customer experience and enables profitable, scalable, dramatic business growth. She is an adjunct professor at New York University and spent years holding various management positions for industry giant Prudential Financial prior to Bing Consulting. Lisa has won numerous awards for business and service, has been profiled in the media, and is currently a regular panelist on TV talk show Brooklyn Savvy.

Ofer Cohen is the Founder & CEO of TerraCRG, the ‘Only Brooklyn®’ commercial real estate firm he founded to cater solely to the most exciting and robust sub-market in the U.S. Since its inception over ten years ago, TerraCRG has been at the center of the transformation of Brooklyn, handling over $2 billion worth of Brooklyn transactions and becoming a true market leader throughout the process.

Prior to joining NYLS, he served in New York City government for fifteen years, including 11 years in the Mayor’s Office, where he served as Counselor to Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. Dean Crowell is a member of New York City’s ethics board, known as the Conflicts of Interest Board; Vice Chair (and former Board Chair) of the Board of Trustees of the Brooklyn Public Library; and a member of the Board of Directors of Citizens Union, the City’s leading good government advocacy group.

Jeffrey Hayzlett is a global business celebrity, a primetime television show host on C-‐Suite TV, and a radio host on CBS Radio’s Play.it and C-‐Suite Radio. Dan Janal, one of the founding fathers of Internet marketing and the author of more than a dozen books, helps businesses build their brands with publicity and books. Dan is considered one of the founding fathers of Internet marketing because he wrote one of the first books on the field in 1993. The Los Angeles Times called Dan “an Internet marketing expert.”

Kenneth Lamar is the Principal Partner of Lamar Associates LLC, as well as an independent Senior Advisor to Deloitte & Touche LLP and on the Advisory Board of AxiomSL. He was at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for 36 years, serving as a Senior Advisor to the Director of Research, where he provided advice and counsel, namely on emerging data collections, developing data quality programs, and data management issues. Prior to this role, he was the head of the Statistics Function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, responsible for most data collections systems and associated data quality programs. Ken has also held s leadership positions in the Federal Reserve System, supporting the design of data collections, the associated quality assurance programs, and the technical implementation of data collections.

Mark Levy is the founder of Levy Innovation LLC, a positioning firm that helps consultants and other thought leaders increase their fees by up to 2,000%. Mark has consulted to some of the world’s most prominent people and organizations, including Simon Sinek of “Start With Why” fame, a former department head from the White House, CEOs of major brands, the former head of strategy of the Harvard Business School, and two TV shows. He has written for the New York Times, and has written or co-created five books, including Accidental Genius: Using Writing to Generate Your Best Ideas, Insight, and Content.
