Martyn Drake is the founder of Binley Drake Consulting, the boutique management consultancy he set up in 2009 to help ambitious business leaders dramatically improve the performance of their organisations.

Since then, he has advised organisations ranging from entrepreneurial businesses like Joules and King of Shaves; to iconic non-profits like the Red Cross and the Scouts; to some of the world's most recognised brands, including Weight Watchers and Walgreens Boots Alliance.

He is recognised as one of the leading experts on strategy and commerce for mission-driven organisations. His latest book, The Commercial Charity: How business thinking can help non-profits grow impact and income, was published by Kogan Page in April 2020.

Martyn lives with his wife, two children and two cats in Nottinghamshire, England. The recent addition of a puppy to the household means that Martyn is likely to slip from 6th to 7th in "the most influential member of the household" ranking for this year. He is desperately trying to talk them out of getting chickens.
