Colleagues and friends have been telling me that I should start my own consulting practice for years. So, I did. I want to take what I have learned in my 30 years of leadership working with small and large organizations, from coast to coast, and help organizations accelerate their culture, strategies, and operations.

Before starting my own consulting practice, I was the President/CEO of PT Northwest. I helped PT Northwest become a widely respected physical rehabilitation group at the state and national levels. In 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2022, PT Northwest was named a Top Oregon Workplace by The Oregonian newspaper. I was instrumental in helping PT Northwest win the National Association of Rehabilitation Agencies (NARA) 2016 Innovation Award for its use of data analytics.

My educational background is rare. Some have called me a "unicorn". I received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Oregon State University, a Master of Business Administration from Willamette University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University, and a LLM in Taxation from Southern Methodist University.

In addition to my consulting practice, I I currently serve as a NARA Board Member responsible for membership and co-chair NARA’s Outpatient Special Interest Group. I have been involved with NARA since 1996. During my NARA tenure, I have served as President, Past President, Vice President, Treasurer, Board Member, and Regional Coordinator. I have won NARA’s George G. Olsen Award and NARA’s Service Award and have severed on numerous industry work groups.

Another area of interest for me is public speaking. I really enjoy connecting with people. Some of my speaking venues have included the American Physical Therapy Association, NARA, Intermountain Healthcare, the Veterans Administration, Capitol Hill, and various universities.

I believe strongly in giving back to my community. I have served on numerous nonprofit boards, such as the Willamette Chapter of the American Red Cross. Currently, I serve on the Advisory Board of Willamette University’s MBA Program as well as the Sherwood West Citizen Advisory Committee.

On the personal side, I enjoy snowboarding with my family, hiking behind my in-laws' farm in the Highlands of Scotland, international travel, and mentoring teens and young adults.
